Promotion for students

We are giving all schools and students a 50% discount on registration, including the theory course. Accordingly, the registration fee is 200 € instead of 400 €.

Driving School

At 2Drive driving school, beginners and experienced drivers are welcome to learn from scratch and change their driving licence. We offer practical and theoretical lessons for driving licence classes B and BE.

We put a lot of emphasis on adapting the training to the learner driver and responding to their needs.

In less than 4 years, our driving school has become one of the top driving schools in Berlin. We care about our good reputation and do everything we can to ensure that our students pass their exams at the first attempt.

How do I get my driving licence?

First of all, you have to go to the driving school, where all your questions will be answered, and you need your identity card or passport to sign the contract. Then you have to make an appointment at the Bürgeramt (citizens' registration office) to submit the application. You can find more information about this below.

In addition to the 14 theory lessons, we recommend that you start with driving lessons. The practical training consists of city driving and special driving. When you are ready, you will receive a confirmation from us that you have attended the lessons. You can then take the theory test.

Once you have passed, we will prepare you for the practical test. Together with the driving instructor, we decide when you can take the test. If everything goes well, you will have your driving licence in your hand.

How do I apply for my driving licence at the Bürgeramt?

You can apply for an appointment at the Bürgeramt Berlin online or by calling the hotline 115.

You will need the following when registering:

  • Identity card or passport with certificate of registration
  • First aid course certificate
  • Eye test, not older than 2 years
  • Biometric passport photo

The processing of the application can take up to 8 weeks.

Which special rides are compulsory for class B?

The following special drives are prescribed by law:

  • 5 x 45 min. country road
  • 4 x 45 min. highway
  • 3 x 45 min. night drive
How much will my driving licence cost?

This varies greatly, depending on your motivation, concentration and receptiveness. It also depends on whether you want to drive with an automatic or manual transmission.

On average, learner drivers need around 20-30 hours of practice. In addition, there are registration and examination fees, as well as the special trips.

From what age is it possible to start the driving course?

It is possible to obtain a driving licence at the age of 17. You can apply for a driving licence at the age of 16 1/2 years. Please note that you can only apply with the personal consent of a parent or guardian and that they agree to be appointed as the accompanying person.

The accompanying person must meet the following requirements:

  • At least 30 years old
  • Class B driving licence
  • No more than 1 point in the driving aptitude register in Flensburg

How can I change my driving licence?

Is it possible to change driving school?

Yes, if you would like to change, please contact the office of the new driving school. For a change you need the training certificate from the old driving school.

This certificate confirms which lessons you have already attended, theoretical as well as practical.

Do you also offer intensive courses?

We generally offer intensive theory courses during the school holidays. For the practical part we are flexible, if you are interested, please contact us in the office.

There is a 20% extra charge on the registration fee and driving lessons.
